Slow Flow: Listening to the Wisdom Within

Winter invites us to slow down.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Winter is associated with the Water element - connected to rest, resilience, intuition, and the wisdom that emerges when we stop trying to force and instead learn to trust the natural flow of life. As the pace of life around us increases, the Water element reminds us of the value of rest, deep listening, and moving with life rather than against it.

This 2-hour workshop is an invitation to explore these qualities through movement, touch, and connection.

We'll begin with solo yoga to awaken awareness and create space within. From there, we'll explore partner movement and connection exercises, inviting curiousity, trust, and play.

Together, we'll then experience the art of Zenthai Shiatsu through a simple guided sequence of bodywork, discovering how mindful touch can support relaxation, mobility, and nervous system regulation. Drawing on the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Zen Shiatsu, and Thai massage, Zenthai Shiatsu offers a beautiful way to both give and receive care.

We'll complete our time together with a restorative sound bath, allowing space to rest, integrate, and simply be.

No experience is necessary. Come on your own or with a friend - all partner practices will be guided with care so everyone feels comfortable and supported.
